The Rotary Club of Madras Cosmos was Chartered on the 21st of October
1992 as the 26th Club of the District 3230, with 42 members.
The club has taken active part in recognising persons of Eminence for
Professional Excellence, and for their contributions to the Society. Many
leading members have honoured the club by accepting the awards constituted
by the club and have been helpful in suggesting activities that could be
undertaken by the club.
The club has sponsored one club in the Madras city in 1994.
The Members of the Club firmly believe that the Social Service projects
undertaken by the club, should yield long term benefits to the recipients,
and to the Neighbourhood.
In all our Social Service Projects, for the Needy, the focus is more on
enabling the recipients to help themselves, and thus become progressively
self dependant.
